A typical flash streaming server will consists of a Dell Poweredge server with the fastest SCSI hard drives available and 2Gb or more of RAM. We can install your choice of Wowza Media, Flash Media Streaming Server, or Flash Media Interactive Server on either a Windows or Linux operating system.

For hosting on demand content we use 100mbps fully burstable network connections as standard and for live streaming servers we use Gigabit connections to cater for the large bursts of traffic.

Dedicated streaming servers are generally used by people with over 100 hours of video content (around 25Gb if encoded at 500kbps) or webcasting to audiences of 200 or more several times per month.
